Apocalypse shelter is a creative map that you can explore around and play with. This map is made for apocalypse mods such as the ones listed below but can, of course, be played in vanilla. The map features a bunker with good resources inside. Such as a Farm, Animal Farm, Chests, Sleeping Quarters, And Bathroom! Creeper Apocalypse Bunker is my newest project. I haven't seen a ton of maps like this so I decided I was capable to make my own to share with all of you!

HOW TO INSTALL MINECRAFT MAPS

Installing Maps on PC
Installing a minecraft map might seem a little daunting at first, but it is actually a very simple process. This short guide is primarily aimed at Windows 7 users, however it is the same process for most operating systems, only the path to the folder will be different.

The majority of minecraft maps that you can download will likely be archived within a .zip or .rar file. The folders and files contained in this archive must be extracted into your minecraft saves folder, this allows minecraft to detect the map. You will need a file archiver program, such as 7-Zip (free), to do this. If you have Mac, you will need a program such as The Unarchiver for .rar files.

Once you're ready to extract the map, you will need to locate your minecraft saves folder. To find it, follow these steps:

1.) Open the Minecraft Launcher.

2.) Click on the "Edit Profile" button in the bottom left corner.



3.) Click on the "Open Game Dir" button" on the bottom right corner of the Profile Editor.



4.) Your saves folder will be in here.



Once you've found your minecraft saves folder, you can copy and paste the location into your file archiver program and extract the minecraft map to there. The location of your saves folder will be something like this: "C:UsersadminAppDataRoaming.minecraftsaves".

The Alternative Way to Find Your Saves Folder:

If you don't want to load up the minecraft client, then you can use this method to find your saves folder:

1.) Click on the Start menu in Windows.

2.) Type run into the search box, and select the Run program at the top of the results.

3.) Type %appdata%.minecraft into the Run program, and press OK.

4.) Your saves folder will be in here.



How to Install Minecraft: Pocket Edition Maps on iOS /iPhone:

1.) Download and extract the Minecraft: PE map that you want to play.

2.) Download and install I-FunBox (free).

3.) Connect your iPhone and PC together, and then open I-FunBox, and click on the Managing App Data tab, then click on the Minecraft PE icon under All My Apps.

4.) Click on the following folders in order: Documents > games > com.mojang > minecraftWorlds.

5.) Paste your PE map into the minecraftWorlds folder.
