You can set it to adventure mode by making them hit a button to begin the map. Also, if you want them to still be able to break levers, you can put /give @a stick 1 0 {CanDestroy["minecraft:lever]}

as the map stands right now it is not possible to complete. there needs to be two levers in the pool area so you can take one with you to the hall area.
