This is the newest version of my tape drive array project, this time based around a new tape design that increases the size by 8 bits per layer, from 65 to 73. The overall size is way smaller per bit than previous designs, and I'm happy with how it turned out. There are also less hidden rail lines which is more friendly to worldedit and structure blocks.
Program it by replacing white concrete with a transparent block like glass. Solid blocks are treated like 1s and transparent blocks are treated like 0s. There are 2 black example decoder units that don't do anything, and 1 green decoder unit that counts whenever a bit is sent on any of the 8 output lines.
Feel free to expand it, rework the design, ask questions, incorporate in other projects, etc.
