A brigantine built for decoration. Based roughly on some 18th century brigantines. The ship was built as I usually build them, however this time I decided to record it using Replay Mod. An extra youtube video is added.

I wonder if the netting could be made out of oak trapdoors, it feels more more solid but it only allows a two block width.

Normal fence could be used, and that would provide almost the same smooth arc you can get from fence gates. Personally I’d say trap doors are a bit too blocky for the ropes.
