In 2015 the tall building next door was renovated by The Block Minecraft where spectators would play and live in the 20 hotel rooms at number 4. Several rooms in the hotel were blocked off due to vandalism and the hotel became neglected, in 2021 during the Covid-19 lockdowns BLOCK9 bought the property and got permission to redevelop the property as well as five other properties in Blarney Court, in 2022 all six properties were renovated in a challenge called The Block Minecraft.
