Would have focused a bit more on small details like flowers and other type of plants myself, because it looks a bit plain in some places, other than that it's a real good looking spawn. Cheers mate.

That's a thing of preference, "natural" detail or structural detail, Both would take a ridiculous amount of time

You can easily populate a terrain with plants in a matter of seconds with the right world-edit commands :p

I really like the spawn though. It looks cool!

I know that, but notch trees and bonemeal-like stuff doesn't really count as "natural" detail for me. I'm talking more small stuff like fences along paths, hand-placed flower patches, small pieces of terrain, lanterns, a lot of stuff like that. The sort of thing Ravand-server people like to do in conquest.

Bonemeal? There is something called world-edit :p
You can completely modify the percentage of any flower, and the density. If you use a brush size of ten, you can pretty much cover the entire spawn with the perfect amount of flowers within seconds. And you could make a set of custom trees, or download some, and put them on a schematic brush (with a world-edit add-on).

I KNOW THAT.
It's just a similar effect in the first place. I also know about the addon. you didn't read most of my reply, did you? "natural" detail in my book is still deliberatley placed, and is more than trees and flowers and plants.

How is something that's been place deliberately 'natural'? In my book that's man-made. With variation in the brush sizes and percentages you can get way more natural randomization then when you place it by hand. Bonemeal does not have any customization. Anyways, we are digressing. Probably shouldn't argue in a comment section of another project. You have your opinion, I have mine.

I'm not fan of ingame flowers/grass...I did consider using custom flowers (3x7 blocks) for mountain terrain but since players from inside would not be able to see much of them and it would require a lot of work (many different flower variations) i decided to rather use this idea for my next build. If we're talking about hub floor (2nd and 3rd picture) then in game it looks a bit different and in my opinion grass is not needed. There are a lot of structures to look at + those purple 'ponds'
Nevertheless thank you guys for your opinions. :)
