This group of structures is my latest project, a test of my detailing skills. I did promise no more big projects not too long ago - this truly might be the last I make, at least for a while now, because I'm planning to put my building skills to use elsewhere. It's been a lot of fun sharing my builds with you guys and I hope you've found them fun to explore.
Have fun exploring this place - I've tried to link up platforms and the like and add extra detail in places. The structures do not have an interior, bar a couple who have been opened to the elements by erosion
Schematic and world download are for 1.12.2 (but should be good for versions above this), using the newer MC textures and built on the Builder's refuge server.
A WARNING - The build contains many components that, if updated, will break. Things such as levers on iron bars, force-closed trapdoors and grass on stonebrick. The world download has random tick speed set to 0 for this reason as well, but be careful what you touch.
I've also added barrier blocks in some places to stop water overflowing, but they may not be enough for 1.13+ versions.
If anything breaks with the schematic/world, be sure to let me know so I can fix things as quick as possible.
Note about my projects - you are free to download them and use them for what you like (singleplayer, servers etc) provided that:
A) Any credit for the build is given to me / you do not try to claim the build as your own
B) It is not monetised or placed behind any kind of paywall / you do not attempt to gain a profit off the build
Background to the build
The build shows a snapshot of what is a sprawling city of concrete skyscrapers - The 7th Vertex. This is one of 8 industrial complexes that occupy an ocean world known as the Manufactory - this world is earth, only in a universe not like ours. This build is part of yet another of my world building projects involving the concept of zones - different universes linked together in a long string, each with their own unique properties that slightly differ from our own. Humanity explores these zones with the invention of a faulty FTL drive, first sending drones and then the first 'zonors', specialised explorers piloting mechs (you can see 2 in the build) to map the zones and survive in the differing realities. Essential to any zonor is the reality anchor - used to enforce the reality of zone 0 (zones are given numbers relative to the number of jumps required to access them, centring on zone 0, the emergence zone of humanity, and increasing to 1, 2 3, etc or decreasing to -1,-2,-3 etc) on other zones. This is the white rod stuck in the ground besides a mech, and also functions as the jump drive.
The 7th Vertex, located in zone 10, and it's other 7 companions are all abandoned - left to continue to suck the planet dry of resources or expend their stockpiles and mass produce various goods autonomously, protected by patrolling drones. The reason for the disappearance of the manufactory's creators is unknown, and the extent of the 7th Vertex underground is potentially kilometres.
