Hello there cchscp, what a beautiful map, so many options, so many possibilities to do something with it!

I modified your map and used it as scenery for a homage to Stanley Kubrick, with beacon + general light art I developed, for a 5.055 Subscriber Special.

Hope you enjoy this cinematic video of a part of your map }=)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQebHij-Kco
Of course you're also credited, in the credits at the very beginning, as well as video description };]

Will you ever continue building on this map, as the progress bar on your project is on 30%?

Thanks and diamond for you! <3

Can this be use on a survival map server? I so wanted to use it if I'm allowed. Is there any other areas my players can explore/build on?

I saw this on the MCF home page not too long ago. I didn't realise that it was built in-game until I looked closely at it.

Wow I'm so flattered! That's fantastic. Thanks so much. I watched it all the way through. I'm sorry I haven't finished all the interiors yet. It takes a long time, and I am building alone. In the time it takes to furnish the inside of one building, I can build about five new ones.

The numbered command blocks are supposed to be elevators with floor numbers, but I haven't coded the command blocks yet.

I just posted an update to the map. I hope you like it! :) There will be more in the future.
Ooh, this reminds me of Atlantis! We have more prismarine down there, though. :P

Are all of those renders done in Chunky?
If so you've got to tell me how you did http://static.planetminecraft.com/files/resource_media/screenshot/1509/5-axdmpqe8693175.jpg . I've been trying to figure out how to make a night or indoor scene look good in Chunky for forever now but the renders always come out looking absolutely horrible.

also a few of the links in your description seem to be broken

They are Chunky! Thanks for letting me know about the link.

If you turn the ray depth down as far as it will go in the advanced tab, you will get a higher samples-per-second figure when you start your render. You can then turn your emitters up and keep the target SPP at about 100,000. I usually let the nighttime renders run overnight with CPU load at 30% or so to keep core temps from running too high. That will usually get me 10-20K SPP by morning, which leaves a decent-looking shot with just a bit of graininess left.

TL;DR: For night renders, turn ray depth all the way down (in the advanced tab).
So simple, yet it is unique. And the night view is brilliant.
Are all the buildings hollow on the inside? By the way, great work!

If you're interested, I'll probably be posting an update to this project next week. I already have another island finished and another dozen or so buildings, but I want to add more before I post it again.
