Abandoned Streetcar Barn - Newford
This streetcar barn was built in 1892 for the Newford Surface Lines. It was used until the demise of streetcars, and still holds one, but is un-operational. It was abandoned for the use of buses throughout the city. The building is based off of a real streetcar barn that still stands in Chicago, but was only used for about 10 years. Here is an image of the real life version (Sidenote- The interior is not accurate to what it was or is today, it's used as a warehouse today.)
