This project started off late into the competition for a laugh- The 3 team members are sir_fluffingtons, EnjoyingYoda and Greytopher.
This build focuses on a Medieval/Fantasy theme with some steampunk thrown into the mix, something that all 3 builders love to do. we are all proud of our work, so we wanted to try something out of our comfort zone with a degree of difficulty to combine. PLEASE TURN OFF FIRE SPREAD AND LAVA FLOW WITHIN THE SPAWN. ALONG WITH LEAF DECAY AND ICE MELT. THANK YOU.
The main castle is designed to be spawned into a room below it all, with a waterway running out onto the main island.Going either left or right leads you out over a stunning view downstream of a medieval village. The castle itself is hollow and can easily be opened up for access if so desired. Certain builds, such as churches or town halls were purposefully left out, so as to fit the storyline- the Aetherions saved their most important monument and the surrounding land, with little time to save much else. There is a large manor-type building along the side, which would be ideal to house either an information system, rules, or simply using it as a portal hub for fast transportation to various areas of the server. The interior of this build has been purposefully left blank so that it can be completely customised, we did not want to impose our own styles too much.
With various sized houses and manorettes around the spawn there are chances of hiding chests with specialitemsperhaps, similar to raiding houses to get your starting gear, and there are a few 'Easter Eggs' from the builders- see if you can find both of them! There is also a Parkour challenge out here on the dock for those people who enjoy such challenges.
