This map started as a random build, I might wanted this to become the lobby, but later I changed it into an arena.


When I was building this I walked to a problem: the spectators all
have a nice place to sit and watch the match, but the arena itself isn’t
much. I couldn’t place any cover anywhere, since it is an open sand
area.


After a bit if thinking I decided to play with ground elevation a bit
and created some cover, but not much. We expect the matches to be over
quickly.


“Yeah, I really never planned this map. I was building a lobby, but
it changed into an arena. We will discover soon if it is a good choice
or not,” says Duncan, explaining why he made this map.
