Building process
Made on hard survival mode
∼ 500 hours of ressources grinding and building
The project involves at least:
- More than 25 000 blocks of bricks
- More than 3 000 buckets of lava
- More than 8 000 dark oak logs
- Over 200 000 blocks mined with diamond pickaxe
- Over 100 000 blocks mined with diamond shovel
- More than 100 deaths
- Over 11 000 trades made with villagers (had to build a trading center)
Was lucky enough to be a little bit helped by a fellow minecrafter on the ressource gathering process :)

1354, somewhere in the land of Alzemir
Day 123,evening
It has been several months since I tried to reach my uncle's land. Besides the distance that separates us, I never really knew him well. We met on scarce occasions on my life: only once or twice for great family occasions, among other things. It is therefore with great surprise that I learned of his death and of his will in which I bequeathed his lines of businesses with his trading posts as well as part of his wealth.
The trip is usually long and to top it off, it got worse with the civil war that broke out between the state that separates my uncle's lands and Silesim… The trip should only have taken 4 months along the river which connects the three states but with the danger which constitutes the roads, in particular the banditry, I must pass through the mysterious countries of the north of Alzemir. Unfortunately, this delays me for another 3 months.
Day 130, evening
After hearing a lot about some of the northern tribes, I can't help but feel some anxiety. Between the satanic and cannibal cults, my little expedition would have difficulty repelling several assaults if it were to have any. So far my trip has gone fairly smoothly and I congratulate myself on the quality of the people around me on this long trip. Today we have just passed a pacifist village which welcomes us very warmly seeing my richly dressed and equipped crew. We are presented with dishes of different quality but all more or less edible.
Day 131, morning
We are still in this village to breathe new life into the expedition. The search for berries and animals is therefore the heart of our concerns. However, I cannot help but feel uneasy at the look that some of the villagers are giving me. I probably sense greed there or some other tar that I can't decipher. However, we are provided with a banquet in the evening in our honor.
Day ???, evening (for posterity we will name it X)
I just woke up in the middle of a dense forest with only a few belongings. My troop, the village have completely disappeared from the map and I don't know how much time has passed. I only remember bits and pieces of moments from the banquet. I strongly suspect the natives of inducing us drunk, stealing and separating us. But I am at least grateful to them for their pity… To my greatest happiness I managed to hunt a rabbit that I avidly devoured. Hunger was working me…
Day X + 1, noon
After several hours of walking, I manage to leave the forest and reach a small clearing. With the view of the sky, I can see several large black columns in the distance. My intuition or probably my imagination leads me to think that an industrial zone must be in its vicinity and therefore I would probably have the opportunity to come across a city. This worries me slightly because the lands of Alzemir are not meant to be developed ... My curiosity prompts me to opt for the direction of the smoke. I tell myself that my chances of survival will increase if I find civilization, I could perhaps recreate a new expedition with the riches that I have hidden in the liners of my belongings.
Day X + 1, evening
I slowly approach the smoke and realize how impressive they are. All these efforts are working a bit on me because I have been on the road for four months now and if I have not deviated too much, I'm still over halfway my goal. In addition, with the decrease in comfort, I am having a harder time moving. If my calculations are correct, I should arrive in the evening of tomorrow to this salvation place.
Day X + 2, evening
I cannot believe my eyes: in front of me is a kind of natural barrier on which are built stone buildings. A mixture of trees of strange colours which seem to emerge from glowing mushrooms mixed with industrial structures. I do not see any silhouette from my hiding place, but the activity of the city seems to be very present. On my right is a large building that looks like a gate, most probably the main gate of this industrial landscape. There seems to be a text written on the door… Mem..ento… Mori. “Remember that you must die”. It is relatively gloomy for my taste ... Tomorrow I should infiltrate this complex which seems to be expanding a lot because I see stone towers with red brick roofs protruding.
