Master the struggle of Attack and Revenge! Fight to control the center of the warzone, reach the cannon to take out the defenders' defenses or fight off attackers from the heart of your base! Navigate hidden tunnels, snipe out the opposing team from defended archer towers, venture through grimy sewers, or use fire charge cannons to fend of the enemy! Game Tutorial:
Siege the Fortress


The Attacker
s

Goal: Open the defenders' gates to get into their base and shoot their heart mechanism until it blows up along with their base.

-Begins in the Attackers' Base where the team uses resources provided in chests to make armor, weapons, potions, and food.
-Exits the base and enters the battle field.
-Time is limited because the defenders health will slowly generate. Once the health bar reaches light purple, The defender will win.
- From the exit of the base the attacker's next objective is to pass through and possibly take control of the central chamber, where fire charge cannons are placed for defense. In the central chamber is also a button which the defender can use to open the regeneration room (see defense section) and behind a locked door is the button which deactivates the secondary defense gate. This door will open later in the battle once the attacker fires the TNT cannon to deactivate the defenders primary gate.
- Once in the central chamber, the attacker must make their way to the
TNT cannon.
Standing in their way remain two obstacles:
1) Collapsible stairway
2) The TNT cannon door.

To de-collapse the stairway, the attacker must go to the Gridlock.
The switch at the gridlock has two purposes and is one of the attackers primary obstacles in getting through the defenders' gates. The switch has two purposes:
1) It De-colapses the stair way
2) It opens up the Cannon Door Defense Mechanism.

The CDDM must be hit with arrows seven times (can only be hit once per minute). The attacking team must fight to keep the gridlock switch protected so that Defenders do not re-close it, preventing the attacking team from firing at the CDDM. After the red piece is hit seven times, the mechanism will self destruct and open the Cannon Room.

A member of the attacking team must then make up up to the then open Cannon Room and step on the pressure plate which activates the cannon.

The cannon will then destroy the Primary Gate Defense Mechanism along with opening the door to the secondary defense gate deactivation button which must then be pressed in the central chamber.

One the button has been pressed and the secondary gate opened, the attacking team is now able to enter the defending team's base!

The attacker must then use bow and arrow to shoot the red piece in the Heart. The heart is linked to the defenders' health and can only be damaged once per minute. Once the defender is out of health, the attacking team wins.

The Defenders

Objective: Defend the Heart from the Attacking team until the health bar reaches light purple and the Defenders win.

The defending team begins by spawning within the Defending Team Base where they will use materials provided in chests to create armor, weapons, potions, food, etc.

The defending teams job is simple. Protect the Heart and any defense mechanisms that keep the attacker from penetrating the two gates to the Defending base.

The defender may also chance upon a secret passage which will allow them to infiltrate the attacking teams base and jump onto the regeneration block. Tip: Be sure to press the button in the central chamber before entering the attacking team's base or else the door to the regeneration room will be locked.


*When the mod is ready, the teams will switch sides, and the map will reset in between. The team who first wins four battles wins the match and receives a reward. Separate in-battle shop using a currency system of points (p) will be in each base and allow each team to purchase potions, food, better armor, enchanted weapons, and even wolves with the points that accumulate throughout the battles until someone wins. Any items in the players inventory upon switching sides will remain in their inventory.

Last but not least, a mod is needed that allows for the resetting of the map after each fight, warping to each team spawn and adding players to separate teams so that team killing is not allowed and team chat is enabled only. Blocks must not be breakable or placeble besides by explosion. when the life force reaches zero, the score must be added within the mod and the teams must switch sides and the map reset.

There needs to be a point system that will allow players to gain a certain amount of points (or money) per kill. The points must be spendable at the shops available at each base. At four points (wins not spendable points) to one team the teams must be teleported to the exit room alongside the battle grounds and the winning team given a reward.

A mod that will make this possible may be used from another game, or we may have to code our own. I'm a builder not a coder. The partner Ninja_Assasin911 does amazing redstone and is fluent in modding but not to the extent of coding one of this complexity.

We are working on this. In the mean time if you are fluent in modding and can help in the production of a new Bukkit mod or addition to previously made mod so that it suits our purpose, please message me and you will be added as one of the main project authors and given credit for your work! The sooner we're able to code or modify and SMP mod to suit our purposes, the sooner we will be able to release Attack and Revenge: Siege the Fortress to the public! We can always use additional coders for the mod if you are good with java but if not, you can always help us test this and even help build the new maps/arenas for the game if interested
