Barad-Dûr was built upon the end of a long southern spur of the Ered Lithui in the northern part of the Plateau of Gorgoroth. It stood about 30 miles east of Mount Doom and about 100 miles southeast of the Black Gate. There was both a road leading north to the Black Gate and Sauron's road to the Sammath Naur leading west to Mount Doom. do you still have the version in the first picture? I understand, that this is too high because of the MC height limit. But I would really like to build the "tower part" only in my SSP world. I hope you know what I mean. Just the upper part, which was shortened to fit in the height limit. Would it be possible, to upload this piece? Would be really nice!
The actual Brad dur is over 900 block height and the pics I just added *1st pic and 2nd pic* is over 300 blocks height (Minecraft height limit is 256) and it still looks to short. Maybe I should retitled it as Chibi Barad - Dur. xD
Now looks better, in WETA Workshop plans (producent of computer effect) Barad-Dur have 1200 meters/blocks. :) I have question, what do you do for 900 blocks height? It's a mod?
Well, there's a mod that you could increase minecrat height limit, you just need to google it you might found one. But it lag a lot if you increase it more then 500 blocks height.
Nice build woah, btw, how did you build this? idk too much about how to do these types of massive builds, do you build block by block, or some type of worldedit, or another software? Again, awesome build.
Well, you can use Worldedit, SPC, Voxel, Mcedit or other types of editing tools, it depends on you what do you prefer to build, do you prefer hardcore build by all mean block by block or the easiest way. xD If you were kind of busy person, it wise if you choose the easiest way to build. Anyway, thank you. :)
