This is a map that depicts the battle of Stonne in 1940 on the first assault. This map was built with help from a guy named Polati. He built vehicles and added a heck of a lot of detail to the map.

This map was made for the CTB2 map building contest Fall Gelb 3. I guess I'll see how it goes. Please don't steal this map and use it for your own nefarious means. Please keep in mind also that this map uses the CTB2 mod so if you don't use it it will look very weird.

This map is technically 100% done but I will be working on a destroyed, battle affected version and putting that here as well. Will add update note when that happens as it will have some pretty significant changes.

Edit: I added the destroyed version as well.

Edit: I have removed the intact version and only left the destroyed version. It just looks better and quite frankly I think it represents the battle far better.

Update on the contest... I tied for second place with this one so :D

Update #2 : by S2eforme 12/27/2020 8:04:33 pmDec 27th, 2020

Updated Stonne, removed intact version, only available map now is Stonne Destroyed. Increased the map dimensions by 50, added a better border or trees, lots of destruction now, fixed up any mistakes I made from previous version.

Good luck with the competition, your map looks great so far!

Those French houses look very real with the shutters by the windows.

Did you do all the terrain modelling by hand? If so thats very impressive, this map must have taken ages!

Haha thanks! Yeah I did indeed build everything by hand followed up by some good old fill commands to make everything solid. It doesn't take too long once you get the hand of it though. Just... repetitive.

I can't take credit for the detailing on those houses though, that honour goes to Polait, the guy who helped me with this map.
