Japanese battleship Fuso in Action.

Among Famous Battleships during the WWll, Fuso attract people's love by Its high and bizarre bridge Unlike other battleships.

Is Fuso's bridge was high since the beginning?

Before Pacific war, Japanese couldn't learn about How to use advanced FCS(Fire controll system) and observation skill from British.

So they depended on their Eyes, but smoke from chimney and gun fire made problem with observation.

The solution that IJN suggested was 'build the bridge higher'. Later, Basic FCS and observation skill were Introduced

Due to turrets scattered around deck, they could not help upbuilding facilities.

Finally, They dug back of bridge to install plane.

As a result they had high and odd brigde with unstable weigh balance.
