The Boeing 747 family is one of Boeings largest aircraft. Introduced in January of 1970, the Boeing 747 aircraft is still in service today, racking up thousand of miles each year. With the age of each aircraft growing, and the popularity of smaller more efficient aircraft on the rise, Boeing has seen a massive drop in 747 orders. As the iconic doubledeck design reaches into being 50 years old (47 Years 23 Days as of posting), the sight of a Boeing 747 will only become more rare.
