Welcome back to another Aeroteam build!
We’re back to planes again. Often, when working to a deadline, we fall back on the familiar; something that we’re confident will work. That’s basically what happened to this post, but it also sums up the Boeing 767 pretty well, too. Dreamt up in the late 70s as a smaller, more fuel-efficient alternative to earlier wide-bodies, the 767 quickly ended up plugging every hole in the market. Militarised versions of this 40+ year-old jet are currently being touted as the American air tanker of the future, not to mention its second life as a cargo hauler.
This 767 is a long-range version, used by German charter airline Condor to shuttle European holidaymakers as far as North America or Asia. While their history has been … circuitous, they’re evidently proud of it, going to the trouble of painting this bird, D-ABUM, in its 70s livery. MinimeRuben, who builds on our server, replicated this paint scheme for us in Minecraft and we’ve gotta say, the classic vibes come through pretty strongly.
