Welcome to Capital City, the capital of The United Islands! It is a diverse city with many areas and many things to see!

Built entirely in Creative mode, we began this project over 2 years ago. Now, it is like a full-on open world game. It is partly based on GTA 5 as well as CyberPunk 2077 and has elements from both of those games.

It’s also based on real-life locations, such as The Oslo Docks area, based on Oslo, Norway, and the Antonio Canal, based on San Antonio, Texas, and partly on Milan, Italy, also. The airport is based on Washington (DCA) airport, The Capitol Area in Capital City is inspired by that city also.

There is a massive rail network throughout Capital City, but it is all completely walkable, as well. It has everything! Many quiet and busy suburbs, such as Hunter’s Point, Lost Lake or Forgotten Hollow, to bustling centres such as Downtown, Uptown and Westport town center. If you want to get out the city, are also railways which take you out of the city to the rest of the country!

Set in the fictional country of “The United Islands”, loosely based on Panem in The Hunger Games, The Capital is futuristic and the rest of the U.I. is living in the past. Capital City and The West Village are the only places connected to roads, the 6 other towns/villages across The United Islands are only accessible by rail. However Capital City is also a futuristic, car-free city concept, so there is only a single highway in The United Islands, which is for people driving in from outside the country to be able to park outside the city and make their way in, which is why there is many parking areas outside Capital City.
