Just a bit o' Medieval fun. The build, for once, doesn't contain any mods, except for World Edit. Still lots of work to put into it, and a lot more pictures to come, so do expect more. The terrain is hand-made. Please, feel free to give me tips.

Got a question? Need something built? Need a skin? PM me!

It looks great at first, and up close to most. Yet I am quite critical and a historical enthusiast. There are a few suggestions I'd like to make. First, you need machicolation, any and every good castle has them. Second, The buildings in the two village like areas are way too similar. You need the same architecture but different design, you seemed to have copy and pasted some of them (no good). Third, most medieval castles were very well kept, so all the mossy and cracked stone bricks don`t make sense, put a few at the base but remove them from the interiors and top. Lastly, as you say you aren't done I hope you get to it. Furnish the interior, a good looking exterior is only half the build.

1. next to no texture variety (fix: use more types of wood and bricks)
2. no machiculations
3. houses too plain (fix: same as for 1.)
4. Lack depth (fix: add machiculations ot the walls, towers and some of the houses)

---
If you want to see an example of machiculations on a house, and on walls, check out this project of mine. I hope I could be of use.

The castle itself is really nice, but you could add some texture to it and maybe some terrain.

I think it could do a bit more detail and mix up the blocks other then that it's pretty good

Create a ZIP and put the world save folder in it. You can get the save from C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves

This look really good!
Though I suggest you turn on Smooth Lighting. It looks bad without it.
