UPDATE : A World save is available. Still not finished but there is enough to be able to share it !

Here is my project of creating the famous french Castle of Cambord in Minecraft ( french name : ChÃteau de Chambord ).

I'll make a video of the castle ( exterior and interior ) when the project will be finished. This is my first massive structure, so if you want to help me by giving me some advices, I'll be thankful.

All is done block by block by myself, but I use INVedit and the flying mod.

Texture pack : DokuCraft high.

You can compare to the real castle by searching "Chambord" in google image. For information, the Castle of Cambord is part of the UNESCO World Heritage, it is localized near the city of Blois, in Region Centre. It was built in the 16th century, in 30 years.

Vraiment très impressionnant ! J'ai voulu le réalisé, mais je ne trouvais pas le plan pour la hauteur et autre.. Chapeau ! Tu as réalisé les 440 pièces ?

Very pretty! I won't lie when I say I was a bit disappointed when I saw the back side missing. But good job!
Do you plan on adding an interior? And possibly an exterior garden area?
Keep up the good work!

Yes, and yes, and that is why the project is only on "30%". In fact I don't know about the garden. It isn't really impressive you know ^^ unlike Versailles.

It is! It is very impressive. I don't have the patience to make large scale structures by hand. I prefer MCedit as a go to for these type of things. I do have another suggestion, but it's far fetched and tedious work.
Many friends of mine build their castles, and then completely surround them with plazas, and then they surround the plazas with markets, and the markets with smaller 'peasant' homes, thereby creating an entire city. But, that is tedious work. It might be a more likely prospect with the help of friends on a server.

For the "impressive" word, I mean the garden of the real castle. And yes it could be awesome to do an entire city, but, it is a Renaissance castle, and make this kind of things is not like the reality. My aim is to be a bit realistic ^^ Type Chambord in Google map, you'll see how it is, and how is the region.
