I saw the contest and was immediately hooked! I am someone who tends to build best underground. I am tend to build into the sides of mountains. I love working with the natural terrain.

I haven't gotten much done but then again its only been 2 days since i started. I have a lovely concept in my mind. So far its playing out very well for me. I will update with more to come as i continue.

Mostly going as i add internal details. I haven't yet thought up a
story. however i am mostly being inspired by the really really old Myst
books. Mainly the 3rd book. The book of D'ni. The caves resemble in my
mind the lost age of D'ni. I'm thinking of setting up a sort of
adventure setting. You have to find 4 switches throughout the cave.
Otherwise when you go to ring the doorbell. All you get is "Sorry i'm
not home at the moment. Come back later"

If you have any ideas. Please i'm all ears.

Are you going to use command blocks? And i have an idea, how about you make a bridge to get to the door, but you need to find the blocks to make the bridge in chests. It would be like when you see diamonds across the pool of lava and want them, but you need to work for them. you can even make it better by making the bride out of glow stone. You can even make the bridge for the person doing the map and then they still have to get the buttons.... just an idea :D

I like that! Yes i do intend to actually use CB's. one of the main ideas i had once i finish detailing is adding boss rooms and puzzle floors. I can be a devious ass with puzzles. hehehehe

I hope that they allow adventure maps cause if they dont 90% of the people are screwed if they submitted. If they do and you can finish this you have a pretty good shot at winning, but then there are always the people at the end with amazing things that are like professionals..... I was also thinking you can make a world cause i would want to see it. It will probably be awesome like your other underground map is.

I might give up on the adventure map idea. personally i like what i have already. I may just cover up what i've done so far and just focus on detailing things.
