Celebrity Eclipse is the third of the Solstice-Class cruise ship, she has a total of 4 other sisters. Built by Meyerwerft in Papenburg, Germany. She was launched on February 28, 2010, and christened on April 24, 2010 by Emma Pontin in Southampton.
