Okay, there's a few flaws with this, 1) He was not a 'Murdering psychopathic clown." As he only took the lives of corrupt politicians, reactionaries and any of his guerrillas that stole from the people or raped. 2) Hanging Che, would demoralize many of the working "class" and halt production. 3) It is being found out that Stalin's murders were just figures for western propaganda purposes. 4) Pol Pot was not a Communist but an Opportunist and titled himself as the same as anyone who would aid him, and at least 80% of "his" 2 million murders were US naval bombardments and another ten from the NVA invasion. 5) Mao made China into a beacon of revolution and pride, his successors brought China into the corrupt state it is now in.
