This is the first city i've built on my new server. It's the first in a series of cities and structures I plan on building before the server goes public. (It is currently whitelist) It has been about a 3-4 month project (would have been completed sooner but there was a period in between in which I didn't get much work done. The city was built entirely from scratch by me with only the aid of the voxelmore plugin to create stacks of the needed blocks. The city contains:

In addition to all of this, there are other attractions to the city which offer some secrets. Some of these attractions include:
Included are some pictures of the city, but they really don't do it justice. If you like what you see, stay tuned to my projects which I will post as I begin working on them and you can see these things for yourself once my server goes public. Got my inspiration for this from the ancient city of Babylon. This explains the architecture and major use of sandstone. I plan to use this city as the central hub/spawn city for my server when it launches. Also, I used two different texture packs while making the city and there are screenshots from both. Both make the city look awesome, but I use one mostly just because it eliminates clouds. One more thing, the gate closes automatically at night thanks to a plugin I've downloaded.
UPDATE: August 10, 2011 - Added a MCEdit schematic of the city and surrounding area. Because the area is so large however, it may be difficult to place on a map.
Three districts:
- A residential district which contains:
- Both lower and upper class housingrn
- Athalia Castle
- Athalia Train Station (which will connect the cities)
- A HUGE cathedral complete with graveyard.
- More housing for gov't officials (mods, admins, police etc.)
- Athalia Bank
- City Hall complete with courthouse
- Well....shops of course which can be used by players to sell their wares via the economy system.
- Market square in which there are 6 bazaar stands for trading goods.
In addition to all of this, there are other attractions to the city which offer some secrets. Some of these attractions include:
- A sewer system beneath the city
- An explorable tomb in the graveyard
- A statue of Jesus modeled after the statue in Rio De Janeiro
- Several docks and a large harbor
- The Great Bridge of Athalia connecting 2 mainlands.
