The City of Galatea is a city project that I have embarked upon along with a few friends (chiefly LadyKady and Nagaant). We have decided to construct a full-blown, as realistic as possible city set in the time of Minecraft (so, not modern with skyscrapers). The goal is that it would be fully functional (or appear so) if it were to be played in - to that end, all buildings will be furnished, and the city will include all basic functions to allow anyone to live in it comfortably. Eventually the city will become part of a larger network of other settlements, first surrounded by smaller villages and then (assuming time permits) other cities. For now though, we're just sticking to this city and maybe 1 or 2 surrounding villages.
