City of Helsinki

Welcome to see the City of Helsinki!

This is a project I do on the side for fun and entertainment. There is no actual goal in this build I reckon, but we'll see what I end up getting done...!

Will this be a server someday..? Possibly. It would be interesting to have people visit the city - and perhaps visit the actual city?

City itself

Helsinki was founded as a trading post in 1550, even though previous little villages had existed in the area. The city became the caputal city of the Grand Duchy of Finland in 1812, so we've just gone past the 200th year as a capital city!

The Metropolitan area has roughly 1 million people living and working in it, so it's relatively "big".

The buildings we have so far are:

Information

Shaders haven't updated for 1.6.2 yet, so none of them used in pictures. Chunky doesn't support Immibis's microblocks, so no nice renders either!
