CLASH OF PIRATES:
- Basic Information:
Type of Map: PVP
Match Length: ~30-45 Minutes
No. of players: 2 team, 5 players per team is recommended (at least 3 per team is needed).
- Gameplay:
In Clash of Pirates, two teams face off in a battle across the ocean. Each team controls a small pirate town on an island. Your town is your base of operations, and the place where you respawn each time you fall in battle. These two pirate towns, called Emral Bay and Rubey Cove, are located at opposite ends of the ocean. Between them lies a pirate fortress known as the Isla Fortess.
A team will win if they manage to keep control of the Isla Fortess for 15 consequtive minutes. To do so, one of their team members must first be crowned the Pirate King for the Isla Fortess to be captured. There can only be 1 Pirate King, belonging to either Emral Bay or Rubey Cove. The game flow is simple: If the opponent team controls the Isla Fortess, you must kill their Pirate King. Then the Isla Fortess will be captured, and a new Pirate King will be chosen at random from members of your team. If you manage to protect your Pirate King for 15 minutes, victory will be declared for your team! The hatch is that the Pirate King is unable to leave the Isla Fortess, so make sure to have guards posted close to him.
The setting of this map is, as previously stated, an ocean. But don't think the environments are just for show; taking time to explore them is just as important as engaging in battle. This is because a player's success is hugely driven by his possession of gold pieces, known as Dubloons. Dubloons can be aquired in many ways, for example by searching for treasure chests at the seabottom, or searching for ores in a mine. The gold you've collected can be used to buy equipment from villagers, giving you a huge advantage in battle. You cannot simply rush at the opponent in this map. The better you plan your attacks, the greater success you will meet, so teamwork is essential.
Gameplay is fully automated using command blocks, and the map has new features from 1.5!

The map was updated today, with some minor improvements and the addition of unbreakable item frames on the houses/shops to make it easier to see where you can buy what.
