A few days ago I was hankering for a good game of Clue, but didn't have enough people around to play it. So I decided to make it in Minecraft.
This map is a pure adaptation of the board game Clue/Cluedo, and follows the same rules and gameplay mechanics as the board game does.
Included:
If you have any questions about gameplay mechanics, make sure to consult the rulebook and addendum. If you still have questions, try looking up the rules for the official Clue board game - this version follows those same rules. If, after all of your searching, you still have unanswered questions, let me know and I will do my best to answer them.
Please note that there is one error in the rule book: you are allowed to make a suggestion and an accusation on the same turn. This error is also noted in the addendum, along with clarification of a couple other rules and gameplay suggestions.
If some players have never played Clue before or are rusty on the rules, it is recommended that you limit the number of players to three. This will ensure that the game still moves along at an enjoyable pace.
Players can either walk the board themselves or use colored wool to represent their character token.
Players should have flying enabled for easier access to the dice.
Play in peaceful mode with fire spread off.
Usage Rules:
Questions, comments, concerns? Let me know!
