Core Towers PvP Minigame

Core Towers is a strategical PvP minigame where the aim of the game is to be the last person alive. Each game can last from 20 minutes to even a few hours. Your main goal is to break your opponents' Tower Core so that they can no longer infinitely respawn. If their core is broken and they die, they are out of the game. Build defences, create alliances, mine for ore, or maybe even set up a trading system. It is all up to the players how they want to play the game!
How To Play (You can skip this part and just read the shorter rules in-game)
The whole arena is a collection of floating islands. When the game starts, you will spawn on your main island, with spawn chests full of useful items and your tower. Each island has different ores and other resources, with islands closer the the centre having more precious ores. It is up to you and the other players if you want to create alliances. Basically this means that they agree not to hurt you or attack your base, unless you attack them first. This helps a lot when getting diamond from the centre, as you can feel safe knowing that you wont die from a sneak attack whilst mining. As soon as someone breaks the alliance, all hell breaks loose. Now, it is up to you if you want to play with alliances, it is perfectly fine to play without them.
Try and get onto your opponents islands and break their core without them killing you first. If you do break their core, they can no longer respawn infinitely and are now vulnerable. Just remember to keep an eye on your own tower, just in case someone tries to break yours! Strategies and other ways to play can be learned just from playing. So get in there and try it!
How many people can play?
4 or 8 or 12 or 16 etc... Any multiple of 4.
However, depending on the number of players, the gameplay will be drastically different.
If you are playing with 4 players:
It will be a good idea if you bring in some sort of alliance between all teams. This alliance will stay until someone breaks it by attacking another team. Not only does this make the game a lot longer, it also makes it a bit more fair. Its not very easy to do everything by yourself. It also gives you time to build a decent defence. Getting better ores from the islands nearest to the centre is a lot better when everyone isn't mindlessly attacking each other every time they find something good!
If you are playing with 8+ players:
This time you will have more people on your team, so alliances etc. aren't as important. Spreading the workload evenly between players is a lot easier than being alone.
Other Information
- Everything is basically automatic with command blocks and redstone. You don't need to worry about any technical stuff. Just load the map and enjoy!
- The first time you play might be a bit awkward and confusing. I recommend having a practice run before having any serious competition.
- You will need to reload the map to start a new round. It wont rebuild by itself and the redstone wont work properly if you try to have a 2nd game on the same save.
- If you are one of those people that actually read the rules, thank you. It might be annoying but you will probably have a better chance at winning that anyone who just skips right to the minigame ;)

- Got rid of TNT and Notch Apples that ruin the game.
- Added Cobblestone Silverfish Eggs and Dispensers into the chests.
- Slightly updated redstone. Hopefully squished some bugs.
- Added 2 more options if you get stuck at teleportation.
- Added disappointment of not getting as many views as Slapis and no YouTube playthroughs. Oh well :P
- Slightly changed a sign for clarification. Yay.
- Turn mob spawning on >:) (/gamerule doMobSpawning true)
- Break the cores at the start and do a quick sudden deathmatch round!
- Spawn in a wither at the 30min/1 hour mark! Prepare for chaos!
- Replace the core material (obsidian) with dirt (using worldedit of course)! Will force people to spend lots of time on defences!
- Put a silverfish spawner on top of the centre island! >:)
As you can see there are many ways you can make the game more challenging and different, so feel free to experiment!
