Important notes:

- This map has blocks from the last Minecraft update (so keep Minecraft updated to play it).
- Texture packs and mods are optative (mods are optative).
- CarZ plugin is recommended if you are using this map for a server.
- If you find buildings similar to buildings from other maps/projects you must know this: nearly half of our work is based on buildings from famous people of the community like Keralis, for example. We study the building we want to build, previously searching for it, and we try to make it as similar as possible, changing certain things to give them our own style. We don't use MCEdit to copy buildings from other maps, we base on them and we get inspired by them. Everything in Cornerside City was built from zero.

Cornerside City is a semi-realistic city project in Minecraft. The idea started in 2012 when we wanted to create a roleplaying server in Minecraft with a realistic city map, but we got a lot of problems with different hosting companies, so in January 2014 we decided to create the map just for fun and put it free to download.



The city is inspired by two cities of the United States of America, Bayside (Florida) and Los Angeles (California). Firstly, because of the videogame Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and then, because of some images of both cities (so we got in love with west coast). We tried to recreate some things from both cities, Santa Monica's pier, and Bayside Marketplace (port of Miami). It also has things from Mar del Plata (Argentina) and Villa Gesell (Uruguay).



One of the most astonishing buildings is the football stadium, soccer for the americans, home of Pixelham FC, based in a mix of Tottenham, Real Madrid, River Plate, Sporting Lisboa and Manchester United stadiums.



It has also a big mountain that divides the city of the countryside were you can find lot's of houses surrounded by a large forest. If you take the route to the west, you will find the zoo and finally you will get to the airport of Cornerside. There's also a church at the small buildings city part called "Barrios bajos" were god is Notch. You'll also find a police station, mayoralty, city hall, museum, tennis court, bank, theater and lots of buildings.
