The Type 72 ultra heavy ground support craft or "Aswang" as nicknamed by many in the UNSC, is a covenant counterpart to the Lich. Meant to both replace and work alongside the Lich, the Aswang sports heavier armament and armor than the lich as well as having the ability to travel via slip space under it's own power, of which the Lich cannot do.
