Custom Terrain - MegaMapPack [​x12]

A whole new set of custom terrain maps! Since I haven't posted much recently, I decided to try and make up for it by putting a whole pack together!

These maps were primarily created as basic custom environments, that could be used as a start for other biome/terrain specific buildings, or adventure maps. Some are simple with little terrain changes, allowing for easy building, while others are much more dramatic and include some very interesting, and detailed areas.

General Info
-There are 12 maps total, each made completely from scratch with the worldpainter app.
-All maps are 1024x, and contain caves, ores, and most other naturally occurring items.
-Each includes a small flatland spawning area, along with a few other starting items.
-Designed to work with both survival and creative game modes.
-Also featuring colored world names for easy finding!

The main world save includes all the maps in a ~100MB zip file, but I have also broke them down individually, for people that just want one or two.

Mirrored Caverns - Download | Alt | Images
New style of double caves, with lots of glowstone lighting and connecting rooms.

Huge jagged mountain with dual passes with a custom adventure/race setup in mind.

A single long river that cuts and weaves in and out of the surrounding area.

Several volcano style islands rising out of the water, all connected by small sand bridges.

Many large lakes, with a few small islands, beaches and forest mixed in.

Very deep, wide open ocean, with lots of underwater lighting.

Rolling Peaks - Download | Alt | Images
Several simple mountain ranges that rise in and out of the surrounding terrain.

Flooded Hills - Download | Alt | Images
Land completely covered by shallow water, leaving only the hills and mountains.

Green Veldt - Download | Alt | Images
Smoothed out prairie type land, with a few lakes and thin forests spread out.

Impenetrable Forest - Download | Alt | Images
Dense woodland area, with trees covering everything but a few small lakes and mountains.

Tangled Marsh - Download | Alt | Images
A swampy wetland, with lots of shallow lakes, ponds and dense foliage covering the map.

Frozen Tundra - Download | Alt | Images
Snowy barren land, with light pine trees, scattered ice lakes, and a few sharp mountains.

You are free to use these maps in any way you want, including reposting/uploading them, as long as there has been some significant modifications to it, like buildings, adventure, etc. All I ask is that you leave a link back to this page when doing so.

Additional Notes

Game mode is set to survival by default, if you would like to change it to creative you can use either the SPC mod, TMI mod, or MCEdit.

Some screenshots were altered with a few paint.net filters.


Texture Pack used is Ovo's Rustic Pack.
