Die Hilgenriedersiel ist ein fiktives Schiff der Semmlischen transatlantischen Schifffahrtsgesellschaft. Sie wurde 1898 als Rumpf von der Germania Atlantic Line gekauft und 1899 fertiggestellt. Bis 1906 fuhr sie von Emden nach New York. Danach wurde sie auf der Route Emden Australien eingesetzt. Am 05.09.1909 verschwand sie auf dem weg nach Australien. Am 21.09.1909 wurde sie auf der unbewohnten Insel Philipp Island gefunden. Am 05.02.1910 wurde sie geborgen und an die DST Line verkauft.
The Hilgenriedersiel is a fictional ship of the Semmlische Transatlantische Schifffahrtsgesellschaft. It was bought as a hull by the Germania Atlantic Line in 1898 an was competed in 1899. Untill 1906 she sailed from Emden to New York. Then she was used on the route from Emden to Australia. On September 5th, 1909, she disappeared on the way to Australia. She was found 16 days later on the uninhabited Phillip Island. She was recovered on February 5th, 1910 and sold to the DST Line.
