THE ANNIVERSARY HAS COME!
BEHOLD TO THE REVISITED DAY D MAP OF MINE!
Hello, hello everybody!
My name is tee_n_tees aka Doudy here and I welcome you to my project page. So to start of, this map was revisited and was given a what we can say a facelift. I've repaired everything, from redstone to small estetic changes, but nobody is perfect so I might miss something there and there so fell free to contact me in the comment section down below about anything that is wrong with the map, mainly things that make it unplayable, but also contact me about your ideas about features, that could be added. Everything will be considered and your comment WILL be answered! :). Now to the main part! The explanation! The map is considered as a TDM and CTP map playstyle where two nations, U.S. Army and the Wehrmacht army clashes on a Omaha beach on 6th of June 1944. You can choose from various amount of classes which each one has its own buffs and debuffs. Everything you'll need to know is explained in the map and the booklet you'll recieve. Anyways, give it a chance, download the map, maybe make a server play together with your friends or just explore the map. The possibilities are endless :)
HAVE FUN, ENJOY THE MAP! AND UNTIL NEXT PROJECT...I'LL SEE YA!

Nah I feel ok :D, part of that was my fault too, I always was dragged off by some new game or something interesting and couldn't find time for my friends :)

Its a cool build and well built but some of the stuff there doesnt make sense. The most obvious one is the aircraft carrier. Although being cool looking, there never was an aircraft carrier present on D-Day

Thats of course true and it was a mistake that I would never ever make again in maps I plan for the future, and if you look more closely the bunkers are not fully authentic. But as I said , won't happen again and this map was built for the gameplay (as you could see in the video) not for true architecture and historical experience :)

Cool idea to make a d-day map, I would have liked to see a lot more fire and explosions and stuff though.

Yes I might do another full remake next year for 71th anniversary ^^, but just to remind you this was a revisition of an old map, and in that time, command blocks weren't that much advanced as now, but definitely it's a very bright idea for implementations in the future :) Thanks!
