The second build in my SkyBET EFL Championship 2018/19 project comes in the form of Deepdale, home of Preston North End since 1875. Its current design was implemented in a four-stage scheme starting in 1995 and finally finishing in 2007, resulting in a current capacity of 23,404.

As for building it in Minecraft, I started on it on April 27, 2018 (23 days after work on the University of Bolton Stadium was finished), and it continued until October 5, 2018. I worked purely from images found on Google, but also from pictures that I took on two visits to Deepdale in July and September. It is built in the same style that I developed with Bolton's ground but was somewhat modified in the sense that the seating angle is steeper in order to help create a better atmosphere. The design on the whole was relatively simple to build with that hardest part of the build coming in the form of the cafe and gym which is in the north-west corner. I did begin work on another of my builds about a week before this one and I will post an update on that as and when, but it doesn't look too far away from completion so it shouldn't be too long.
