If you like this build, please leave me a favorite or a diamond! Much appreciated! 😁
DISCLAIMERS: This is my first uploaded build, and I have all the main buildings done, but the whole city is only around 60% finished. Everything was designed and built by me. Some of the terrain near the city is screwed up because this world was originally a customized world, so when minecraft removed customized worlds it re-generated the chunks with other biomes besides desert, creating some unsightly edges. I plan to smooth out these areas later. Also because of this, when you open the world it will give you a message saying "customized worlds are no longer supported". Just click "I know what I'm doing". If you have ideas for how I can improve the build or other things I could add that would realistically be in the city, feel free to leave a comment, but also please go easy on me since this is my first upload and it's unfinished 😅
This started out as just the palace and then I decided to build homes around it, then I somehow ended up building an entire city. The city is not based on any real location, however I constructed the buildings of the city with Iranian and Indo-Islamic architecture in mind, which is why I named it Parsapura (Persian city). The religious buildings in the city are also loosely based on Zoroastrianism, so they all feature water and soul fire. I strived to make the city somewhat realistic as a medieval desert city, with all the buildings and things a medieval desert city might have.
All the finished buildings (almost all buildings) have furniture and finished interiors for you to explore. The main buildings of the city include:
And many homes, businesses, markets, wells, shrines, and roads. There also is a secret room and a secret passage with 2 hidden entrances somewhere in the city. See if you can find them!
