This temple was built thousands of years ago by an ancient civilization around a spring that fed water into all the rivers and tributaries in their civilization. In the present day it is now being excavated and restored by senior archaeologist Kevin.

I very cool idea - the look is very well. One question - are there any Frogs in (real) desert areas?

Yes, quite a few at that. Remember those meatball-looking screaming frogs from the memes? They're called Breviceps macrops and they live in deserts and dry areas.

My one criticism might be that, with the oasis-like perimeter but also the bamboo scaffolding, the overall effect strikes me more as a reconstruction or restoration of the temple, rather than that of a temple in its prime or an archaeological site.

That said, this is a really cool concept, and it is successful in being visually-distinct as a frog shrine.

I wish we could have visited that ancient civilization--I'm imagining a pet frog in every house. :)
