I have created some Dome Schematics of various sizes for MC Edit. They are made of light blue wool and are hollow.
To use just import in MC Edit and then select (they are individual schematics) and paste.
You can change from light blue wool to whichever material you want. Glass or stained glass looks good.

Sizes between 11x11x6 to 151x151x76 (width x length x height). The full list is shown on the images page.

There are a few different ways you could use them.
1. use as domes (just change the material)
2. slice horizontally (leaving 1 block high) and you have a circle.
3. slice vertically (leaving 1 block width) and you have an arch.
