The Golden Chalice of Kurast is an epic minecraft adventure with a quest driven storyline that has you battling to save the life of Princess Alusair, the daughter of King Azoun IV. Set in the lands of Kurast it has you battling the odds to recover a golden chalice and in turn save Princess Alusair.

An epic story with an MMO feel to the adventure, in excess of 125 quests to challenge the bravest of souls and custom armour, weapons, potions and items. This is the adventure map that sets the bar the highest its been for quite some time....

King Azoun IV has called for you to help save his daughter who is dying. To do so you need to find The Golden Chalice of Kurast, a chalice that is rumoured to have magical powers. You start your journey at the docks of a foreign city called Oldbourne City from where you must try to find and recover The Golden Chalice. Whilst trying to find the chalice you will travel through cities, towns and lands of breath taking scenery as you endeavour to find the chalice and in turn save the life of Princess Alusair.

In order to save the life of Princess Alusair you will need to find The Golden Chalice of Kurast and take it to King Azoun IV. The main storyline quests revolve around you doing this and as you do so you will encounter in excess of 100 side quests.

• Storyline Quests - over 25 quests and epic boss battles.
  
• Side Quests - in excess of 100 side quests that provide you with equipment, items and fame amongst the people of Kurast.
  
• Epic Scenery - custom made map with biomes of breath taking beauty.

Kurast is an island nation in the Eastern Sea on the boundary with the Sea of Swords. It is located east of the island of Freeport, north of Tortage and Drobnovia. It covers a land area of 345 km² (133 sq mi) and has a population of 100,000 (2015). Its capital is Oldbourne City.

The territory was disputed between France and the United Kingdom in the 18th century, before being ceded to the British in 1763 and again in 1783. It gained independence on October 27, 1979. Approximately 100,000 people live on the island. Oldbourne City (population 25,418) is the chief town. The rest of the population is dispersed evenly across the main towns of Aglaston, Keshari, Pevikx and Riverbanks and surrounding villages.

The island nation celebrates its independence every year with a public holiday.


Before 1498, it had been called Kurastuna by the Caribs. Columbus named the island Kurast, although he largely ignored Kurast and the smaller islands nearby, but focused instead on the pursuit of gold and silver in Central and South Faerun. They did embark on slaving expeditions in and around Kurast following royal sanction in 1511, driving the Carib inhabitants to the rugged interior, but the Spanish made no attempt to settle the island. Carib Indians aggressively prevented European settlement on Kurast until the 18th century.

The island of Kurast is 18 miles long and 11 miles wide and is located 100 miles west of Faerun. It is dominated by a number of active volcanoes with the last erupting on April 13, 1979, falling on the Christian Good Friday. The island is very mountainous and well-forested. The island has a total surface area of 344km² and the coasts measure about 84 km. The island is tropical humid, with an average of between 18 and 31 °C depending on the altitude.

In order to get the best possible experience from playing The Golden Chalice of Kurast the following are the key points to note:

• Resource Pack - use the resource pack included in the download (when downloaded from our site)
  
• Single/Multi Player - ensure cheats are enabled if playing a single game and all players are OP'd if playing in multi-player
  
• Game Settings - when you press the button at the start it sets all of these for you
  



To allow all of the features in the game to work, portals, signs etc you will need to be either opped if playing a multi-player game or switch to LAN and cheats enabled if playing a single player game. If you don't do this the quest system and other key features of the map will not work. In other words, if you don't do this you might as well stop playing the adventure!
