~Oriental Paradise~

This map is a part of a larger project: Land of Mirador, and will play a role in future lore and movies which is planned. Check it out under my other projects!
The resource pack used is a modified version of John Smith's Pack, and is specifically for this map. However, if I release a download to this map upon completion, a simplified and compatible version which makes everything in the map look beautiful will be released. For now, enjoy the pictures, story, and cinematic!

For years, the Oriental wonder of Dukuoka has been hidden from western civilization by tall mountains and a deep fog. This has allowed the small community to thrive; living in such a way that they are always at peace with nature. Temples stretch into the sky and multicolored trees dance in the breeze. In this place, everything seems at rest; and yet, hidden under the surface of the serenity, a rebellion is in full blossom. The corrupted leader of the lands is coming soon, and the people of Dukuoka are the only ones who are left to oppose him. But... they aren't fighters. They've lived as one with nature their whole lives and only heard rumors of the city of Kumjikan, far away and across the expansive jungle. But now, civilization is bound to find them eventually. For now, Dukuoka is still the most peaceful place on Earth, but that is all about to change.

- My first source of inspiration for this project has to be Mists of Pandaria. As you might notice, many structures and land formations in the map resemble things found in Pandaria. When I first saw the cinematic for the expansion, the terrain was my primary interest (and still is).
- The next person who really gave me ideas was JamziboyMinecraft when he began building a few oriental structures. I loved his style but wanted to go a bit further...
- So, I began researching how blocks metadata works, and used this to create pink, red, and orange leaves to further add to the oriental theme.SpoilerThe leaves are actually bedrock ;)
- After finishing gathering the resources needed, I ran World Painter, threw a small map together, and this is what I got.
