The World as we know it... in Minecraft...
Hello! I made Earth on Minecraft to a small scale. I don't really know the scale of the map, but I made this world to be an alternative to LetsLentz's 1:1500 Earth map. This map is way, way smaller from LetsLentz's 8 GB map. While this map is 110 megabytes. But if you're wondering what the map's dimensions are, they are 3328 by 1792.
When you spawn on the map, you will spawn around France, Luxembourg or Belgium. You can chop down a tree around Europe and craft a boat, then sail around the world. It isn't too difficult to travel rather than having to go across the Sinai Peninsula and Panama Isthmus due to there being no canal. I didn't make a canal because I was sure some people would like to make it theirselves.
Easter Eggs
There are a few hidden things here and there like in the Atlantic Ocean there is a large pyramid that is Atlantis and other things you'll find...
Spawning
The way items spawn vary. For example, In West Africa, diamonds spawn more than they would anywhere else. Also, around Appalachia, coal spawns more than other items. Villages, dungeons and strongholds spawn around rivers because I put Resource chunks around where populated areas are so villages can spawn around where realistically a town will be. But if you live there and want to make your house there, just burn their innocent village down ;3.
