Ebren Memorial International Airport - EMIA
Ebren Memorial International Airport is the international airport serving Calvada located in Administer District, Las Vegia City. The airport consists of the main terminal, domestic concourse, international satellite terminal*, air cargo hub*, and a military airbase*. The airport is complete with nearly all facilities as an IRL airport would. The spawn area is also conveniently located in the main terminal providing visitors with information about Calvada and its provinces, together with its coordinates.
The airport was first constructed in circa late-2015 and later a new main terminal was constructed in 2021. The land in which the airport's main terminal and domestic concourse currently resides was formerly a small airstrip (built in 1944) and an estuary which was used for small supply boats to break the Siege of Las Vegia during The War. It was formerly named Las Vegia International Airport (LVIA) until March 2025 where the airport was renamed to Ebren Memorial International Airport (EMIA) in honour of Lord Ebren (1938-2025) who served in office as the 3rd Grand Minister of Calvada from 2018 till 2025.
The airport has undergone major overhauls since 2021 in which consists of 3 phases. The first phase (circa mid-2021) mostly involved the construction of the current main terminal. The second phase (circa September 2022) mostly involved the expansion to the existing concourse and construction of the current ATC tower, hotel, and other necessary facilities. The third and final phase (2025) involves the airport's expansion out to the south west of Las Vegia City, a major makeover of the airport's interior and exterior, and the construction of the new international satellite terminal*, air cargo hub*, new runway* (replacing the former runway 18/36), and military airbase*.
