GINTAMA'S EDO PROJECT IN MINECRAFT

Since Gintama (anime) is reaching to a conclusion. I have decided to build the map of Edo in Minecraft because I love the show.

Honestly, I have no idea how long it will take because I build alone.

I have a lot of things to plan (map, build scale, geography, buildings, texture packs, skins because you know what they say "Failing to plan is planning to fail".
So this will be a side project.

Maybe I will update this again in a year lol.

Wow this looks like a really cool project, I’ve always been into cool sci if like cities. Good thing that They are increasing height limit so that you can build that giant obelisk in the city center.

wait the height limit is really increasing? if so then that is a very good news. i thought that was a rumour.

They’ve kind of confirmed it, it’s one of the things that they want to do in the next update. In one of the latest snapshots ( I believe) the height limit is now 512 blocks.

wow thats pretty cool. i also found a datapack to increase the world height limit
