I never could find any decent large sized egyptian style statues so I made some of my own. I wanted to get an archaic, lost in the mists of time, utterly inscrutable vibe from them so I made the faces flat and blocky.

I would use sandstone more often if it had a darker brown hue to it, but most times that bright yellow is just inappropriate imo.
