I'll try to explain this in a way that eveybody understands!
When I was a kid, me and my best friend worshipped the Lord Of The Rings-series more than anything! We played with action-figures and roleplayed several characters in different scenes from the trilogy! After a while we started to come up with our own roleplay-story called "Vattnadal", which is the swedish name of the city "Rivendell" from the movie. (You guys can already tell that this is a big spin-off of Lord Of The Rings.) We made up a rather big amount of characters, locations and a storyline that we'd follow and expand as we played! We also used to draw paintings and our own comics about this roleplay. Man, we really went for it! xD
The reason I created this project was because of this Minecraft map I started on, around 6 months ago. My plan is to re-create the entire world our roleplay was taking place in. I created the map in World-Painter (http://www.worldpainter.net/) and then I'd simply imagine where all the cities and landmarks would be. As I'm typing this, one of the larger cities is complete, and I've started on a smaller town. Note that I've had to plant every single #$@!!/ tree in the forests, bonemeal all the plains and land where there is supposed to be a lot of grass and so on!
I'm playing in 1.7.10 and I won't make a world download at the moment. Basically because I don't know how to do it, lol x)
I'm using a slightly modified version of the resourcepack "Conquest_1.7" - the best pack I've ever seen! (http://www.conquest.ravand.org)
If you want to see more of my work here, please comment and send a Diamond if you want to! That will really boost my motivation to work even harder on this map! :D <3

Update #9 – April 2017 (!!!) : by SIMMEZUKO 04/26/2017 9:13:59 amApr 26th, 2017
Ehm.. Well, how's things?
It's actually been over a year. Awkward...
My motivation to continue on this project has only decreased more and more. As I become more skilled in building, I realise how ugly most of this map is. I've realised that the map I made in WorldPainter is off the charts when it comes to facepalm-rate. So many things have been done bad, there are either no contrasts or too much contrasts. Between the various biomes for example, there's a sturdy line where fields become forest and so on. The forests are only vanilla-trees and the areas where I planned towns to be are very close to one another and too flat! The mountains are too soft and simple, the rivers are too few, too deep and too wide. I hate it.
I've actually planned to re-do it all. A new, bigger, better map. Better, more beautiful towns. A diverse, lush terrain with good variation of height and so on. I would really like you who (maybe) read this to come with tips and opinios on how I should do it and so forth.
Thank you and cya later!
