Make sure the boat is in the same place in the picture. Align yourself with the wall and trapdoor and throw a pearl straight up.
This is the main pearl stasis chamber. It's designed to be as reliable and stable as possible, making sure the goes and stays in stasis.
Note: Keep it in unloaded chunks on 2b2t. 2b2t's anti-redstone plugin will eventually cause it to fail.
