Escape The Overworld - A Minecraft Timed Survival Challenge

Hello everyone viewing this page! This is my second survival map and it brings forth a challenging goal; You must escape the over-world before it is destroyed! You start off in a bedrock box and are given a basic set of tools and armor, but before you do anything you must press the button. This button will start the timer and from then on you will have 30 minutes to gather enough resources to build a nether portal and escape from the overworld. I expect everyone to follow the rules (which are listed below) so that when scores are posted they are legitimate. Also it is very fun and intense if you are following the rules
... So with that I ask you to read on and have fun!

Scoring:
It is highly recommended that you play with a group of friends as you will not be penalized for doing so and also you will get more done.
Scoring will be based on a plethora of different challenges and bonuses...
Challenges will be added up whether you win or lose and bonuses will be added only if you create a nether portal within the Time limit.
Deaths will deduct 10 points from your score.

For the proof of completion i would like an image of you in the nether or any other proof that you have reach it... This is the easiest thing to cheat on so I kindly ask that you do not post false scores...

Your Creations:
If you want to create your own version of this map without the hassle of setting up a ton of redstone or various contraptions then this section is for you!
The first thing you will want to do is download the blank slate! The blank slate is basically my map with nothing in it except for a few layers of stone, dirt, and grass at the bottom. After you build your map you will have to connect a button/lever/pressure plate to the redstone repeater(Shown in the pictures below) so that the players may start the timer.

Player Made Maps:
Create a thread for your map and post the link to the thread down below! This way I can create a list of maps created by you guys to make your maps more popular! All i ask is that you have a link back to this thread inside of your thread so you can help me along with other people.
I will start listing the maps here once one has been created.
Extras:
If you dont have your own server to play on check out this ribbon! You can play this map over at AdventureLobbies.com!

I know there might be a few issues so just let me know what they are so you can help me help you..

Rules:
1. Play on hard
2. No creative mode
3. No teleporting
4. No Mods that effect core gameplay
5. No Cheating
6. Do not touch the TNT,lava, or redstone mechanisms at the top of the map.
7. Do not add sand to the timer manually.
8. Read the scoring section below
9. Do not run away from death... Accept it.
10. Do not drown in the 1 block deep river
Scoring:

+If you create a nether portal before the time is up you receive 30 points.
+ For every gold ore you mine you receive 1 point.
+ For every gold bar you smelt you receive 2 points.
+ For every gold block you have in the end you receive 20 points.
- If you did not see above... You lose 10 points for every death.
Challenges:
1. Build a base - 5 points
2. Reach bedrock - 1 point
3. Make a diamond pickaxe - 3 points
4. Start a sugarcane farm - 5 points
5. Start a melon farm - 5 points
6. Find one hidden mob dispenser - 3 points
7. Release 2 chickens from dispenser - 1 point
8. Release 2 pigs from dispenser- 3 points
9. Release 2 cows from dispenser- 3 points
10. Find all hidden mob dispensers - 5 points
11. Start an animal farm of any kind - 5 points
12. Collect a stack of redstone dust - 5 points
13. Mine diamond from each stalactite - 5 points
14. No deaths by the end of the game - 5 points
15. No creeper explosions by the end of the game - 5 points

Tips When Making a Map:
1. BACKUPS,BACKUPS,BACKUPS!!! Regularly create backups of your map.
2. Do not try to edit the redstone in a way that will power it... trust me.
3. I dont recommend creating stalactites as it will interfere with the redstone...
4. Do not use Voxelsniper/World Edit to shape the walls or ceiling as it might interfere with redstone... Ex: /b e lift
5. I will add more tips when I think of some more!

Tomorrow i'll try it with my friends! One of the best ideas for a challenge i ever saw! Go ahead with creating such great Challenges, imma try beat them! ;)
I might create different variations of this map so players will be in different situations depending on the layout of the map.
