Esta es una de las estaciones del antiguo sistema de ferrocarriles de la República de El Salvador basada en una foto de la estación del pueblo de Nejapa tomada en 1970 y otra foto de la estación del caserío de Ateos tomada en 1937 que tiene el mismo estílo.
Los Ferrocarriles empezaron a correr en el país en el año 1882, pero debido a los daños hechos a la infraestructura durante la guerra civil, se suspendió el servicio en 2002. Solo volvieron a correr por un corto tiempo de 2007 hasta 2012 entre San Salvador y Apopa, pero hasta ahora no hay trenes en servicio.

This is one of the stations of the old system of trains that ran in the Republic of El Salvador based on a photo of the station of the town of Nejapa taken in 1970 and another photo of the station of the village of Ateos taken in 1937 which has the same style.
