The Airbus Helicopters H225 (formerly Eurocopter EC225 Super Puma) is a long-range passenger transport helicopter developed by Eurocopter as the next generation of the civil Super Puma family. It is a twin-engine helicopter with the capacity to carry up to 24 passengers, two crew members, and a cabin attendant, depending on the customer's configuration. The helicopter is marketed for offshore support and VIP passenger transport, as well as for public service missions.
The civil EC225 has a military counterpart, initially designated the Eurocopter EC725; in 2015, it was renamed the H225M. In 2015, the EC225 was officially renamed the H225, in line with Eurocopter's corporate name change to Airbus Helicopters.
